ABOUT ME

Welcome to my page! If you're here, I can only thank you for taking the time to find out more about me and my photography!
I did not grow up as a photographer. For me, it all began when my son, Corey, who is now 14, was born. His father, who was in the military, was deployed to the Middle East a week before Corey was born, and I wanted to capture every moment of Corey's life for his father to see. The second I started capturing Corey's life on camera, I knew that I had the ability to capture his face and his moments in ways that others couldn't see.
From that moment on, I started viewing life as if through a camera lens, constantly framing and composing everything as if it were thousands of snapshots.
Many photographers have a specialty they focus on. For me, it's whatever is interesting at the moment. My family is always number one; I can't get enough of capturing their smiles and laughter. I love animals and could spend all day chasing a dog just to get that perfect image. Macro photography fascinates me, so spending an hour focused on one bee buzzing around some flowers is not unusual for me. Couple and family photography speaks to my soul; I absolutely love to capture those real, candid moments between people who truly feel for one another.
As a social, extroverted person living with a bunch of introverts, events call to me. The lights, the hustle and bustle, meeting new people, experiencing new environments truly excites me.
As a military veteran, brat, and spouse, working with military families, events, and any military-themed shoots will always be a specialty of mine.
As a Jeep owner (most will call me a fanatic), I also love to take pictures of Jeeps and other cars and auto-events!
At the end of the day, I want to do what's best for my clients. If that means spending extra time, changing locations, trying new things, I want to do what it takes for the people I capture to have those images that they look at for years to come with wonder and joy. Every booking is personal to me, as it's not only images of you and what you want me to capture, it's a representation of my work and dedication to you and to the craft.
